Coach House is a woman & veteran owned, small business, serving the community for over 30 years, is ideally located to serve the doctors and patients of Northern Virginia, Woodbridge, Montclair, Stafford, and beyond. The center is staffed by highly qualified, licensed physical therapists utilizing the most up-to-date techniques and equipment. The staff is dedicated to the physical well-being of patients and work closely with their healthcare providers to ensure that the prescribed treatments are carried out and expected results are achieved. The center specializes in treating a broad spectrum of muscular and skeletal dysfunctions due to accidents, surgical procedures, illnesses and weaknesses, neuropathy, etc. Most insurances are accepted.

Our Team

Rachel Litchfield, PT, DPT
PT, DPT, CAFS, RYT
Owner, Licensed Physical Therapist
 
Dr. Rachel Litchfield purchased Coach House Physical Therapy in May of 2021 with the drive to keep the well known family feeling as well as continue the outstanding patient care. Rachel received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Westmont college and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Rachel is also the CEO and co-founder of Rise Up Physical therapy with separate locations which she started when she moved to Virginia with her husband, a Marine. When Rachel is not serving the community she dances, runs obstacle course races, bakes, and enjoys the outdoors with her husband and two dogs.

Sam Hough, PTA
Clinic Director, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Sam received her degree from ECPI: MCI University, July 2017. Sam began working at Coach House in September of 2017. During her clinical experiences, Sam had the opportunity to work in skilled nursing and outpatient facilities allowing experience with orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric patients. Sam has continued her education in Maitland and Strain Counterstain techniques. Sam is currently going to NOVA in hopes to earn her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and Business Management. When she is not in school and work, Sam enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, son and 2 dogs.

Katelyn Roberti, PT, DPT
Licensed Physical Therapist

Katelyn received her B.S. in 2012 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her clinical experience, she had the opportunity to work in acute care, outpatient, and pediatric settings. She loves working in the outpatient setting because of the vast variety of patients she gets to meet and treat. She loves doing any outdoor activity, reading, and serving in her church with her husband and two small kids.

Ashley Olds, PTA, RYT
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Ashley received her B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2006 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant Associate's degree from NVCC in 2019. Her clinical affiliations allowed her to gain exposure in both acute care and outpatient settings. Prior to acquiring her license, she worked as an aide in outpatient physical therapy for ten years. In her downtime, she moonlights as a writer for health and wellness articles, enjoys nature, paints, and trains in mixed martial arts. She looks forward to continuing her education in this field to better serve her patients.


Kevin Mahan, PTA, CPT
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Kevin graduated with his B.S. in Health Sciences from James Madison University in 2018. He then went on to receive his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from the Riverside College of Health Careers in 2020. Kevin took advantage of his free time in the early months of the pandemic and got his Personal Training certification through ACE. He enjoys weightlifting, soccer, running and trying to be as well rounded of an athlete and clinician as possible. He implements aspects of personal training into the rehabilitation process and vice versa for a more functional approach to his patients’ physical well being. 

Tamara Wright, PTA “T”
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Tamara received her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy in 2014 and recently earned her PTA Associate's degree from NVCC in August. She has previously worked as a PT technician and receptionist for outpatient orthopedic facilities. During her clinical experiences, Tamara had the privilege of working in skilled nursing and outpatient facilities gaining experience with orthopedic and neurological patients. In her time off, she loves to drink coffee, spend time with family and friends, take her two German shepherds for walks, run, hike, and serve in her church.
